pH Testing For Stucco Painting [Video]

Jeremy Holderness

Stucco PaintingTesting your stucco surface for pH level is critical when your stucco is new or you've recently had a patch or repair done.  If you apply paint too soon before it's had time to cure you're likely to run into a massive failure.

You could just wait the standard 28 days for full cure time but maybe you don't have time to wait.  So what is an easy way to test for pH to make certain that your levels aren't too high?  You can purchase pH testing pencils, testing strips, etc., etc.  But in this week's video I'll let Justin show you one of the easiest ways to find out fast.
