Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can you give me a ballpark price without coming out?
We can usually give you a rough range if you tell us the room sizes, surfaces (walls/trim/ceilings), and the condition (repairs, wallpaper, peeling). For an accurate quote, we’ll do a quick walkthrough so the scope and prep are dialed in.
How soon can you get me on the schedule?
It depends on the season and the size of the job. If you have a deadline (move-in, listing photos, a tenant turnover), mention it. We’ll tell you what’s realistic and offer the next best window.
How long will my project take once you start?
Most interior jobs are driven by prep and dry time. Exteriors depend on surface condition and weather. After we see the space, we’ll give you a start date, expected duration, and what could change it.
Do you help me choose colors and sheen?
Yes. If you tell us the look you’re going for (warm vs. cool, modern vs. traditional, hide scuffs vs. show detail), we’ll recommend options that fit the lighting and how the room gets used.
What’s the biggest reason paint jobs fail around here?
Prep and the wrong coating system. Peeling and early wear usually come from skipping repairs, painting over chalky/dirty surfaces, or using the wrong primer/finish for the material. We build the plan around what the surface needs, not just what looks good day one.
Will my house be a mess while you’re painting?
We set expectations up front: what gets moved, what gets protected, and where you’ll still have access. If you’re living in the home during the job, we can phase the work so you’re not displaced.
Do you do small jobs, or only full repaints?
Both. If it’s a smaller scope like one room, stairwell, trim refresh, cabinet repaint, etc. share what you’re trying to solve and we’ll tell you the best way to handle it.
Can you paint while my business is open?
Often, yes. For commercial spaces we can plan around hours, isolate areas, and schedule louder prep work when it’s least disruptive.
Are you licensed?
Yes. ImageWorks Painting lists Pennsylvania license #PA025608. If you need documentation for a facility, property manager, or insurance file, ask and we’ll provide what’s required.
What should I do to get the fastest quote?
Send a few photos and tell us: the address/area, what surfaces you want painted, the condition (peeling, stains, repairs), and your ideal timing. We’ll get you to the right next step quickly.
